R & D Cowin Coal Merchants have been established for over 40 years and are centrally located between Penrith and Appleby, both just 7 miles away from Culgaith.
Regular deliveries to the surrounding villages take place just as they always have, with a range of solid fuel products suitable for open fires, multi-fuel stoves, wood burning stoves, Aga's and Trianco Boilers.
For those new to the world of Solid Fuel, we are happy to provide advice and guidance on the appropriate fuel to use for different appliances.
Solid Fuel for ‘home delivery' is in 50kg bags or upon request as a ‘Bulk' order.
We also supply ‘Pre-packed' fuel in 25kg and 10kg bags.
It's worth remembering, 25kg bags of House Coal and Smokeless fuel can be purchased from
Hazel Dene Garden Centre all year round.

Logs can be supplied in
nets or Dumpy Bags.
Nets of logs are always on sale
at Hazel Dene Garden Centre,
as well as being available for
'home delivery'.
